Two earthquakes rock Trinidad in four minutes
Trinidad and Tobago have been rocked by two earthquakes last night, Monday, October 22, 2018. The shakes were four minutes apart.
This was confirmed by the UWI Seismic Research Centre (SRC).
The first, a 5.1 magnitude quake, struck around 11:33 pm.
The details are as follows:
88 km WSW of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
91 km WNW of San Fernand, Trinidad and Tobago
110 km ESE of Carupano, Venezuela.
Meanwhile, the 4.2 quake struck at 11:37 pm.
50km SW of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
58km NW of San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago
74km WSW of Arima, Trinidad and Tobago.
