Baby boy declared dead on arrival at QEH

Police are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of a one-month-old baby boy, which occurred sometime yesterday, Wednesday, September 13, 2017.

The parents of the baby, Petra Rouse 21 years, and Silverson Greenidge 30 years, took the baby to the Day Care & Preschool at around 9:15 am on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. They subsequently received a call sometime from the preschool around 3:40 pm, informing them that the baby appeared to be ill. On arrival to the preschool the parents took the child who was unresponsive at the time and rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), where the child was pronounced dead on arrival.

Investigations into the matter are continuing.
