Those present wore masks and queued in an orderly manner to say their goodbyes to the country's former leader as he lay in state in Parliament for the second day and final day of viewing.
With COVID-19 regulations in full effect, there were temperature checks at the entrance, and people were advised to practice social distancing as they proceeded to view the casket.
At a time when it was expected to be sorrowful, many in attendance appeared warm and proud to be part of the day's proceedings, with many focused on writing their warmest regards for the late CARICOM Head in the wake of his passing.
The funeral for the late PM will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the St Peter Parish Church starting at 2 pm.
