COVID-19: Barbados reports a total of 5 confirmed cases as of March 19

Barbados' Prime Minister has announced three new positive results for COVID-19.
One Barbadian, a visitor and a crew member on a cruise line are the three new confirmed cases.
The crew member has not left the ship, meanwhile, the other two patients both have a travel history from the United States. The Barbadian returned from New York.
Therefore, Barbados stands at four, while the cruise line has one positive crew member on board.
Barbadians waiting for COVID-19 update for March 19

To date, Barbados still has only two imported COVID-19 cases.
Daily the Ministry of Health has been delivering on Prime Minister Mia Mottley's promise to give updates constantly and consistently.
Today, Barbadians are patiently awaiting the start of an afternoon update from Ilaro Court, which was scheduled to get underway at 12.15 pm.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley and Ministry of Health officials are supposed to chair today's press conference.
As it relates to testing so far in Barbados since the news of the two positive results on Wednesday (March 17), the Health Minister Lt Col Jeffrey Bostic told the media yesterday that in the last 24 hours, Barbados has tested "about 13" people on March 17 and another 11 persons on March 18.
"All of the tests conducted on Tuesday returned negative," he disclosed.
