With the launch of the website for persons to begin applying for the Barbados Welcome Stamp Visa, applicants must understand the terms of the initiative.
Appealing as it is to work from Paradise, the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. today (July 20) has defined all terms associated with the Visa initiative and its application procedures.
Remote Work : Remote work is an operational style of work that allows professionals to work outside of a traditional office environment.
Applicant: Any person over the age of 18 years
Principal Applicant: Lead Applicant for the Family Group
Spouse: The relationship that subsists between a man and a woman who:
are legally married
are not married to each other and have co-habited continuously for a period of 5 years or more and have so co-habited within the period of 12 months immediately preceding the submission of the application
child or step-child of the Principal Applicant under the age of 26 years;
any other relative who is, by reason of age or any infirmity of body or mind, wholly dependent on that person for his/her subsistence.
Family Group: Principal Applicant, Spouse and dependant(s)
Duration of Stay: Maximum 12 months from date of approval
