Premier League debutants the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Capital Market Barbados Soccer Academy (BSA) has moved to the top of the table in Zone 1 of the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Premier League.

Last Thursday night at the BFA WIldey Turf, BSA defeated Britton's Hill FC 4-3 to continue their unbeaten run and ended Britton's Hill one in the process.

Britton's Hill came into the encounter looking for their first victory after consecutive draws against Mark’s Auto Spares Porey Spring (2-2) and Claytons Kola Tonic Notre Dame (3-3).

The BSA sit on seven points from their three matches, two points above reigning champions Neighbourhood Care Pharmacy Weymouth Wales.

A second-half brace from forward Kevin Samuel was the main inspiration to lead BSA beyond their more experienced opponents.

Samuel scored in the 48th and 83rd minutes to support goals from Noah Nicholas in the 8th minute and Ocean Sobers-Henry in the 53rd minute.

Brittons Hill opened the scoring in the 2nd minute through Zidkigah Samuel then added a second via Carl Joseph in the 20th minute.

Kemar Smith completed Britton's Hill scorecard in the 50th minute and the Valery boys now find themselves one point from the base of the Zone 1 table.
