Barbados Traffic Report - Bumper-to-bumper traffic to start October

Here is a look at conditions on our roads and any major concerns for the morning.

Accidents

No accidents were reported to police at this time, however a car's wheel broke off in the area of Proute.

Conditions

There are bumper-to-bumper flows on most major roads.

From the area of Bournes Village, St George, through to Lears, Hothersal Turning, Waterford Bottom and unto Station Hill, St Michael is extremely heavy.

There are also heavy flows from Codrington and Bush Hill, Jackson through to Green Hill, as well as Sargeant Village and Maxwell.

Concerns
Sergeant Seibert Johnson is urging motorists to be careful:

"Coming from the direction of Proute heading towards Bibby's Lane. We have reports where a car had broken off its wheel... and it's in a corner, just near the Water Authority pumping station.

"So persons approaching that area you need to exercise extreme care."

Advice
Be careful on our roads whether walking, riding or driving!
