"Things were relatively quiet this morning, we had no real problems."

Those were the words of relief from Sergeant Seibert Johnson, who nevertheless expressed disappointment about the way some persons parked their vehicles in Barbados.

He had a stern warning to motorists who park indiscriminately around the island:

"If you have money to give away, we have money to take," he said about persons who park illegally in Bridgetown.

Sergeant Johnson further lamented that "people attend functions and are very inconsiderate - even blocking persons' driveways - we will be dealing with this."

Advice

Plan your trip properly the next time you are heading out - this includes where you are going to park - legally.

Be careful on our roads whether walking, riding or driving!
