Barbados Traffic Report - Too many road fatalities recorded

Here is a look at conditions on our roads and any major concerns for the morning.

While there were no reports of injury at this time, a two-car collision at the Nita Barrow Roundabout is causing challenges for motorists in and around that area.

Traffic is heavy across the island at this time, with bumper-to-bumper flows in and around the City.

There is also congestion of note in Mapp Hill, Government Hill, Jackson through to Green Hill, Hothersal Turning through to Station Hill and onto Bridgetown, Sargeant Village and Maxwell.

Offering condolences to the family members of Barbados' latest road fatality, Sergeant Seibert Johnson is urging persons to exercise caution on our roads:

"24 persons would have lost their lives on our streets, so we are asking our motorists to be careful - pedestrians, cyclists alike.

"We need to exercise extreme caution on our streets - the 24 persons who would have lost their lives on our streets are 24 too many."

Be careful on our roads whether walking, riding or driving!
