The Barbados Meteorological Services says today a tropical wave will be affecting the island. In addition, a weak ridge pattern will be the dominant feature across the island.
This morning is expected to be fair to occasionally cloudy hazy and breezy with a few brief scattered showers, while this evening will generally cloudy, hazy and breezy with a chance few isolated storms.
Winds in the morning will be generally Easterly 20 to 40 km/h while in the evening the winds will be blowing in from the East to East North East at 20 to 40 km/h.
Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with swells between 1.0m and 2.0m
The sun rose over Barbados this morning at 5:32 a.m. and it is expected to set at 6:26 p.m.
The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 29.6⁰C and it dropped to a low of 25.2⁰C overnight.
