Barbados Weather Report - Tropical wave brings rain on July 18

The Barbados Meteorological Services at Charnocks Christ Church says a tropical wave is affecting the island and, as a result, in the morning, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with some scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms.

This evening into tonight will be partly cloudy with some scattered showers and a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms before midnight.  It will become fair to partly cloudy and breezy with isolated showers thereafter.

The winds throughout the day will be blowing from the East to the East South East at between 20 and 30 km/h and will increase slightly in the evening to between 25 and 30 km/h. 

The sea is currently slight to moderate with swells of 1.5m to 2.0m and this should continue throughout the day into tonight.

The sun rose over Barbados at 5:40 a.m. and it should set around 6:29 p.m.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday morning was 30.7⁰C and it dropped to a low of 26.6⁰C overnight.
