Barbados Weather Report - Clear skies on August 23 to give way to rain

Sunny skies are expected to give way to rainy and overcast condition late in the day, as Weak unstable conditions affect the island.

That’s according to the Barbados Meteorological Service which says this morning, it should be Fair at first becoming occasionally cloudy with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms later in the afternoon.

The Charnnock’s Christ Church-based institution also says it will be fair to partly cloudy with some scattered showers as night approaches.

The seas today will be Slight to moderate in open water with swells from 1.0m to 1.5m, while the winds are expected from the East to East South Easterly at 15 to 30 km/h.

The sun rose over Barbados at 5:47 a.m. and it will set around 6:15 p.m.

Yesterday temperatures reached a high of 30.8°C, with a slight drop to 25.9°C overnight.
