Barbados Weather Report - Cooler temperatures accompany tropical wave
With the apparent temperature on the island soaring to 37⁰C over the past few days, forecasters at the Barbados Meteorological Service are expecting a cooler day today.
They say a tropical wave is affecting the island and as a result, in the morning it will be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy and breezy at times with some scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms.
Not much change in conditions is expected in the evening into the night as conditions will be partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy at times with some scattered showers, occasional rain and possible isolated thunderstorms.
The winds are blowing from the East to the East North East to East at between 20 and 40 km/h with a shift in direction East to East South East expected later in the evening.
Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with1.0m to 2.0m swells
