Barbados Weather Report - Expect a cloudy August 8

The tail end of a tropical wave is affecting the island and according to the Met Office, the morning should be generally cloudy with some scattered showers, a few periods of rain and possible isolated thunderstorms.

In the evening, the high-pressure system will be the dominant feature and so, it will be fair to partly cloudy with a few isolated showers.

The current wind direction is from the East to East South East at 15 to 35 km/h but a shift East South Easterly to the South is expected later today.

The seas will be moderate in open water with swells of 1.5m to 2.0m.

Sunrise was at 5:45 a.m. and it should set around 6:23 p.m.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday morning was 29.7⁰C, while overnight it dropped to a low of 24.4⁰C overnight.
