Barbados Weather Report: Expect some cooling winds on Sept. 27

Fair and sunny skies are expected to give way to some showers today, as a tropical wave approaches the island.

The Barbados Meteorological Service, based at Charnocks Christ Church says this morning into the late afternoon, will be fair at first becoming partly cloudy to cloudy at times with some scattered showers.

The winds are blowing from the East North East to East at between 10 and 25 km/h while the seas are slight to moderate in open waters with1.0m to 1.5m swells

Sunrise over Barbados was at 5:48 am and it is expected that it will set around 5:51 pm.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday morning was 31.1⁰C and it dropped to a low of 25.6⁰C overnight.
