Barbados Weather Report - It's a rainy Friday, July 12

Here’s the weather report for Barbados for Friday, July 12, 2019.

The Barbados Meteorological Service say a tropical wave will be affecting the island today, and, as a result it will be partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy with some scattered moderate to heavy showers and possible thunderstorms during the day.  However, during the afternoon, expect generally cloudy and breezy conditions with some scattered moderate to heavy and isolated thunderstorms.

In the morning, winds are expected to be coming from the East North East to East South East at between 20 to 40 km/h with higher gusts near showers and the seas will be slight to moderate in open water with swells between 1.0m and 2.0m.

Later in the afternoon this wind direction will change slightly and they will blow in from the East to the East South East and between 20 to 40 km/h.   Then, the seas are expected to be moderate in open water with a swell of between 1.5m and 2.5m.

The sun rose over Barbados at 5:39 a.m. and its should set around 6:29 p.m.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday morning was 31.3⁰C and it dropped to a low of 26.6⁰C overnight.
