Barbados weather report - Low-level trough approaching

Here’s the weather report for Barbados, Saturday, July 6, 2019.

According to the Barbados Meteorological Services, the Atlantic high-pressure system is the dominant feature affecting the island but by tonight a weak low-level trough will be approaching the island.

This morning and afternoon are expected to be fair to partly cloudy and breezy with a few brief isolated showers.

This evening into tonight is predicted to be fair to occasionally cloudy and breezy at times with brief scattered showers mainly after midnight.

Winds are from the generally from the E at 20 to 35 km/h, but later there will be a slight shift in wind direction to ENE - E.

Throughout yesterday, the temperature reached a high of 30.9⁰C during the morning and dropped to a minimum temperature of 25.3⁰C during the night.

Seabathers and seacraft operators can expect slight to moderate in open water with swells from 1.0m to 2.0m.
