Barbados Weather Report - Rain and partly cloudy skies on September 19
As Barbadians welcome the rains, which are cooling down the heat of the past weeks, forecasters at the Barbados Meteorological Service (BMS) say more rain is in the forecast for today, September 19.
With a Weak surface to low-level instability will be affecting the island, this morning into the afternoon is expected to be partly cloudy with occasional scattered showers. However, some afternoon localized showers and thunderstorms will also be likely over some central, northwestern and northern districts.
Later in the evening, the weak ridge pattern that will be over the island will generate a few scattered showers. However, it is expected that it will be fair to occasionally cloudy with a few scattered showers.
Today, the winds will blow in from the East South East to South East at between 10 to 20 km/h while the seas are expected to be slight to moderate in open water with swells of between 1.0m and 1.5m to 2.0m.
