Barbados weather report - Rough seas, rip currents for February 10

Here’s the weather report for Barbados, Saturday, February 10, 2018.

According to the Barbados Meteorological Services, the Atlantic high-pressure system is the dominant feature affecting the island.

This morning is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy and windy with some scattered showers at first becoming mostly fair and windy with a few brief isolated showers.

Tonight is predicted to be fair to occasionally cloudy and windy with brief scattered showers.

The sun rose at 6:23 am and will set at 6:03 pm this evening.

Throughout today, the temperature is predicted to reach a high of 28⁰C during the morning and drop to a minimum temperature of 21⁰C tonight.

The winds are coming from the ENE - E at 37 to 55 km/h with higher gusts near showers.

Seabathers and seacraft operators can expect rough to very rough in open water with swells up to 4.5 metres.

A High Surf Advisory and Small Craft Warning for the Eastern Caribbean is in effect.
