Barbados weather report - Swimmers cautioned on Oct 29

Here’s the weather report for Barbados, Tuesday, October 29, 2019. 

According to the Barbados Meteorological Services, a surface to low-level trough is approaching the island.

This morning is expected to be fair to partly cloudy with a few scattered showers. However, there is the slight chance of some afternoon localized showers and thunderstorms over some western and northwestern districts.

Tonight is expected to be fair to occasionally cloudy with occasional scattered showers mainly after midnight.

Current air temperature: 28.3⁰C (7am) 

Winds are from the E - ESE at 10 to 25 km/h for the early part of the day, but tonight winds are predicted to be from ESE - E at 15 to 30 km/h.

The sun rose at 5.51 am and will set at 5.33 pm this evening. 

Throughout yesterday, the temperature reached a high of 31.9⁰C during the morning and dropped to a minimum temperature of 26.6⁰C during the night.

Seabathers and seacraft operators can expect moderate in open water with swells from 1.5m to 2.5m.
Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
