Barbados Weather Report - A tropical wave is affecting the island

Here’s the weather report for Barbados, for Monday, July 21, 2019.

The Barbados Meteorological Service at Charnocks Christ Church says a tropical wave is affecting the island, the tail end of which will also be felt into tonight.

As a result, it should be partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy at times with some scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms mainly during the morning.

This afternoon is expected to be partly cloudy and breezy with a few brief showers at first becoming fair to partly cloudy, hazy and breezy.

The winds today will be blowing from the East to the East South East at between 20 and 40 km/h and the seas are expected to be slight to moderate with swells of 1.0m to 2.0m.

The sun rose over Barbados at 5:42 a.m. and it should set around 6:28 p.m.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday morning was 31.1⁰C and it dropped to a low of 24.2⁰C overnight.
