Barbados weather report - Windy day for Crop Over boat rides

Here’s the weather report for Barbados, Saturday, August 4, 2018.

According to the Barbados Meteorological Services, a mid to upper-level trough is affecting the island, and by tonight it is expected that the trough will be coupled with a tropical wave.

Today is expected to be generally cloudy and hazy with some scattered showers and a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm.

The sun rose at 5:44 am and will set at 6:24 pm this evening.

Throughout today, the temperature is predicted to reach a high of 30⁰C during the morning and drop to a minimum temperature of 24⁰C tonight.

Winds are expected to be Generally from the E at 20 to 40 km/h with higher gust near showers.

 

Seabathers and seacraft operators can expect slight to moderate in open water with swells from 1.0m to 2.0m.
