The Barbados Meteorological Services says weak unstable conditions will continue to affect the island today.

The morning is expected to be mostly cloudy and breezy at times with some pockets of light to moderate scattered showers, periods of rain and possible isolated thunderstorms. In the evening, partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy at times with occasional scattered showers.

Winds in the morning will generally be from the East to East South East at 20 to 40 km/h with higher gust near showers, while in the evening while in the evening they will be blowing in from the E to East South East at 20 to 40 km/h. 

Seas are moderate in open waters with swells between 1.0m and 2.0m

The sun rose over Barbados this morning at 5:31 a.m. and it is expected to set at 6:21 p.m.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 31.2⁰C and it dropped to a low of 24.3⁰C overnight.
