Being Healthy #easyso - 'She must be on her period!'
In this episode of Being Healthy #easyso, Claire and Nadia will highlight how women can use their diet to help cope with symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS).
PMS affects many women to varying degrees. Some have few or mild symptoms, while for others, they are more severe. The hormonal changes associated with PMS can have physical and mental effects such as tender breasts, bloating, cramping, headaches, fatigue and yes – mood swings.
But remember, women’s emotions are not necessarily slaves to their menstrual cycle, so be careful what assumptions you make!
