Bicyclist leaves scene of crash with officer in ambulance

One bicyclist is counting his lucky stars tonight.

Police are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding an accident which occurred sometime around 11:40 am, today, Thursday, February 2, 2018, along Spring Garden Highway, St. Michael, involving a motor car and a bicyclist, which resulted in injuries to Leon Archer, 55 years, of Upper Goodland, St. Michael.

The bicycle was being ridden by Leon Archer, whilst the motor car was being driven by Police Constable Henry Thorne, 53 years, who is assigned to the Motor Transport Department.

Archer complained for pain to both legs and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for medical attention.
