Bicyclist rushed to QEH in a semi-conscious state


A cyclist who lost control of his bicycle was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with head injuries.

Police reported that around 5.18 pm, today, Saturday, October 19, along Oistins Hill Road, Oistins, Christ Church, Lloyd Cummins crashed his bicycle.

The 50-year-old was believed to be riding down Oistins Hill and for some unknown reason he lost control and fell. He received head injuries and at the time of his departure with paramedics, he was speechless and described by medical personnel as being semi-conscious. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Police are carrying out on-scene investigations.
