The Barbados U15 Boys football team completed their international friendly series against St Kitts & Nevis impressively on Friday, at the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Wildey Astroturf.

The young Tridents won both matches by a 3-0 margin as they prepare steadily for the CONCACAF U15 Championships next month in Florida.

In the first encounter Wednesday night, in front of a boisterous and supportive crowd, Barbados displayed style, passion and purpose to dominate their opponents.

Kyle Lewis gave Barbados the lead in the 2nd minute after receiving a pass from midfield, then coolly slotting the ball into the bottom left-hand corner from inside the area.

The Tridents held the lead up until the break.  Six minutes after the restart Barbados doubled their tally through Thierry Gale.

After some fine, quick passing, the host unlocked their opponents’ defense, which resulted with Gale unleashing a ferocious right footed shot from outside the area into the bottom right-hand corner.

Andre Applewaite completed the goal feast in the 72nd minute when he converted from the spot; following a foul on substitute forward Taijeo James inside the area.

Barbados followed up their Wednesday night performance with an equally inspiring one Thursday.

An own goal sent Barbados ahead in the 7th minute.  Lewis scored his second goal in two days in the 22nd minute.

James rounded off a successful series for the Tridents with a simple finish in the 45th minute.
