Black Rock man shot and killed

The Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) is investigating the circumstances which led to the death of a 24-year-old St. Michael man. 

The deceased has been identified as Shaquille Toppin, a resident of Danesbury. 

According to police reports, sometime around 9:55 pm on Tuesday January 8, 2019, police responded to a report of a shooting incident at Danesbury, near Retreat Road in Black Rock St. Michael.  

On arrival, police were informed that an adult male, identified as Toppin, was shot. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by private vehicle. 

He was pronounced dead at the QEH.
