Brighter looking A&E Department when reopened next week

Persons seeking the services of the Accident and Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) must access its temporary location through the glass doors of the Lion's Caribbean Eye Care Centre.

Hence, taxi operators and drivers using the front doors to the QEH or parking around the roundabout by the main entrance need to be aware of entering and exiting ambulances over the weekend.

The Accident and Emergency Department will be temporarily relocated to the hospital's Antenatal and Haematology Clinics from 1:00 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, October 26, to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, 2018, to facilitate the painting and industrial cleaning of the department. To effect this interim relocation, the Antenatal and Haematology clinics will be closed from 1:00 p.m on Friday, October 26 and resume on Monday, October 28, 2018.
