Brothers charged after attack

The victim was left tied to a pole after brothers - Shamar Andre Rock 30 years, and Brandon Ricardo Rock 16 years both of Shorey Village, St. Andrew attacked him.

Police have arrested and jointly charged the Rock boys for the offence of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm, committed against Jamar Green 25 years, whilst at Shorey Village, St. Andrew, sometime around 1:30 pm, yesterday, Wednesday, May 17, 2017. 

According to police reports, Green visited the area to watch a football match, on completion of the match he proceeded to walk to the bus stop when he encountered the two brothers. He was subsequently attacked and tied to a pole by the brothers. The matter was reported to the police who responded and discovered Green tied to a pole in the district. A video of Green being tied to the pole was also circulated via the social media.

Brandon and Shamar Rock were subsequently arrested and charged for the offence of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. They both appeared before Magistrate Ian weeks in the District ‘D’ Court today, Thursday, May 18, 2017, and were granted bail to reappear in court May 22, 2017.
