CAL launches Caribbean Identity in Jamaica
Caribbean Airlines launched its corporate campaign “The Caribbean Identity” in Jamaica on Friday, March 15, 2019.
In a statement by the airline, the new campaign is meant to embrace and celebrate the authenticity of the Caribbean region and all the elements that make it unique.
In delivering remarks at the launch, the airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Garvin Medera said, “'The Caribbean Identity' is the culture and the spirit of our many diverse nations--united by a shared sea and our similar and powerful heritage. Through 'The Caribbean Identity', we will showcase the best of our Caribbean region and reflect it across our airline identity, from our branding to our community activities, to our presence at festivals and major events.”
Medera also reiterated the airline’s commitment to Jamaica and its people, by announcing the airline’s corporate partnerships for 2019 in Jamaica.

-Jamaica Football Federation Girls’ Football
-Champs Inter-Secondary School Track & Field Sports Association
-Team Jamaica Bickle - Diaspora support in New York for all Jamaican athletes who train away from home in Jamaica.
'The Caribbean Identity’ launch was held at the Caribbean Airlines Kingston Ticket Office and featured performances by Machel Montano.
To celebrate the occasion, Caribbean Airlines is also offering passengers travelling between Kingston, Jamaica and New York the opportunity to earn triple miles and get closer to a free Caribbean Miles ticket and get two bags free when you upgrade to Caribbean Plus.
