Brazen mall shooting suspect remanded to Dodds

A twenty-one-year-old man has been remanded to HMP Dodds in relation to the brazen murder of a St. Philip man.

The detectives of the Major Crime Unit have arrested and formally charged Hakeem Roberto Stuart of Shelbourne Gap, St. Lawrence, Christ Church, for the following offences which occurred
on March 21, 2019, whilst at Sheraton Centre

Young mother, Former Calypso Monarch pleads not guilty on six charges

When required to enter a plea in court today, Saturday, March 30, 2019, Aziza Clarke pleaded not guilty.

The Police of the Southern Division arrested and formally charged Aziza Kebret Tsgaye Clarke, 23 yrs of Unit 4 Bonnets, Brittons Hill, St Michael for a number of offences which occurred March 21, 2019.

Calypso Monarch and male charged in connection with mall murder

A male and female are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow in connection with the murder which took place at Sheraton Mall, Christ Church. 

Detectives of the Major Crime Unit have arrested and formally charged Hakeem Roberto Stuart 21 years, of Shelbourne Gap, St. Lawrence, Christ Church, for the following offences which occurred on the March 21,  2019: 

-The murder of Damian Trotman of Foursquare, St. Phillip. 

-Recklessly or unlawfully discharging a firearm in a public place placing a number of person in danger of death or serious bodily harm.  

The female, Aziza Kebret Tsgaye Clarke of Unit 4 Bonnets, Brittons Hill, St Michael, is charged with knowing or believing that Hakeem Stuart had committed an arrestable offence to wit: murder, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse did assist by transporting him in a motor car, an act with intent to impede his apprehension. 

The 23-year-old is the 2016 Pic-o-de-Crop monarch. 

Clarke is also charged with the following offences which occurred on the March 21, 2019 whilst along Graeme Hall, Christ Church: 

-That she assaulted the police to prevent the lawful apprehension of herself. 

-That she did resist the police in the execution of duty. 

-That she without lawful excuse damaged a pair of sunglasses valued $120.00 BDS belonging to Patrick Forde. 

She was further charged with the following Traffic Offences: 

-That she being the driver of a motor car, did fail to stop at the sound of the siren of the approaching police vehicle. 

-That she being the owner of a motor vehicle registration number MC92 failed to register the vehicle with the Licensing Authority. 

-That she being the driver of the motor vehicle registration number MC92 on Tom Adams Highway did use the said vehicle when there was not in force a policy of insurance for that vehicle. 

Both are scheduled to appear at the Bridgetown Magistrates’ Court sometime on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
