Created : 5 December 2018
Local radio station, Capital Media HD 99.3 has announced the launch the Capital Kids’ Project.
The project is an initiative under the auspices of The Amarone Charitable Trust. The Project – which runs into 2019 – is a commitment by both entities to care for children in need across the island.
Dave Csumrik, of The Amarone Charitable Trust and Longview Associates, stated,
“We know that Capital Media HD 99.3 has the vehicle for communication of this initiative to reach across the island; and we have seen and heard Vic’s work. This, along with the fact that we have a self-imposed mandate to help our children, are the major reasons for today’s launch.”
According to Veoma Ali, co-ordinator of the Project, it aims to assist through a tiered approach, with a focus on sick children, literacy, anti-bullying, poverty and other societal ills.
Vic Fernandes, Chairman of Capital Media HD 99.3 thanked the Amarone Charitable Trust for its partnership and its “genuine love and care for the children in this country.”
