Cases closed: Police display jewellery taken for owners to claim

Earrings, necklaces, chains and more are on display.
Owners of jewellery taken from them either by thieves or burglars or during investigations have an opportunity to reclaim their goods.
Extending the dates for identification and retrieval, the Royal Barbados Police Force has made the items available three days next week for persons to come and see if their possessions are among this haul.
Police have in custody various articles of jewellery which were exhibits in adjudicated criminal cases and the sole intention now is to return these articles of jewellery to their owners.
The pieces of jewellery have been on display for public viewing at the Central Police Station, Coleridge Street, Bridgetown from Wednesday, January 8, 2020, and will continue to be displayed between 9 am and 3 pm on the following dates:
Monday, January 13, 2020.
Tuesday, January 14, 2020.
Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
Persons who wish to view the items are required to present valid picture identification when wishing to make a claim to any item.
