Caymanian golfer wins the 2020 South Florida Junior Open

Cayman Islands golfer Aaron Jarvis won the boys overall title at the South Florida Junior Open, run by the South Florida PGA, by nine shots Friday at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club.
The 17-year old shot 71 to finish at 6-under 207. He had a six-shot lead after 36 holes.
“The first two days my ball-striking was good and today it was my putting,” said Jarvis, who trains at at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy and attends high school at The Crenshaw School, both near Orlando, Florida.
“This is a nice win for me,” he said.
Jarvis plays for the Cayman Island’s national team. His only hiccup Friday was a double bogey on the final hole.
“I didn’t mind the double just to get the round over with,” Jarvis said.
Sebastian Nachilly (72-216) of Jupiter was second, Tyler Mistretta (72-217) of North Palm Beach third and Noah Kent (79-221) of Naples fourth. Kent won the 13-15 age division.
