CCJ to hear appeals by two convicted Barbadian murderers

Two Barbadians convicted of murder will have their cases heard by the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ).

They are Jabari Sensimania Nervais and Dwayne Omar Severin.

Both men were convicted of murder in separate cases and sentenced to death.

They are appealing against their convictions for murder and the central issue uniting both appeals is that of the constitutionality of the mandatory death sentence.

The CCJ will hear their cases on Wednesday.
