Celebrations for "only nine months" more in prison for six charges

A 31-year-old man admitted that he had a dress and a wig for use in a robbery six years ago.

And yesterday as Henderson Levere Roberts stood in the dock undisguised, he learnt the cost of his crime and six other theft-related offences he committed in 2012.

Roberts was given time served on six of the offences and; having spent over two years on remand, will now spend a further nine months at Her Majesty's Prisons Dodds.

He seemed quite satisfied with the sentence shouting: “Only nine months I gaw spend, only nine months!” as the prison warden guided him out of the dock and back to the prison bus.
