Waterford Compton slipped to defeat number 10 over the weekend, at the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Wildey Astroturf.
Sitting at the bottom of the Digicel Premier League, the Waterford representatives fell to title challengers the Barbados Defense Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) 3-0 on Saturday.
The win put the BDFSP back in the title race, however it cemented Waterford Compton’s place at the foot of the table and potential relegation.
Akeem Hill scored his third goal in two games when he opened the scoring in the 28th minute.
The score would remain 1-0 until half-time, but two goals in two minutes dented the spirits of Waterford Compton unit, as they conceded to defeat well before the game was over.
Rashad Smith’s outstanding debut season continued as he scored in the 63rd minute, before Damian Thorington completed the scoring card with his first goal of the season in the 65th minute.
