Conductor remanded on indecent assault charges

A conductor accused of masturbating in a Christ Church Pharmacy less than a month ago, said he was "innocent until proven guilty".

Terry Emmerson Dellimore, 40, of Browne's Gap, Sargeant's Village, Christ Church was not only accused of committing the indecent act but also faced four other charges including indecent assault against an 11-year-old girl.

The charges allege that on November 11, 2017, Dellimore indecently assaulted the minor and on the same date he entered a woman's resident, as a trespasser, with intent to commit indecent assault. These two offences occurred within the District "B" jurisdiction.

In the District "A" jurisdiction, Dellimore is accused of unlawfully assaulting another woman on September 15, this year and willfully masturbating in Aqua Pharmacy with intent to offend a female on August 28, 2018. He pleaded not guilty to the assault but could not plead to the other.

Holding what appeared to be three conviction cards, the prosecutor informed the court of Deliimore's antecedents - which included burglaries and trespassing.

Prosecutor Sergeant Rudy Pilgrim said Dellimore was currently on bail in relation to another indecent assault matter and asked the court to deny granting him "bail on top of bail".

"Innocent until proven guilty," Dellimore said when Magistrate Douglas Frederick asked him what he had to say to the court.

As he mitigated on his own behalf, he told the magistrate about his employment in construction but when asked to explain the process of mixing cement, he seemed unsure. He also appeared to be uncertain about the person who hired him.

The magistrate remanded him until October 22 to reappear in relation to the District "A" matters. He is expected to appear in the Oistins Magistrates' Court on September 27.
