UPDATE: 'Pockets' charged for murder of Zanaba Moore

UPDATE: A man who was wanted by police earlier this week appeared in court charged in connection with the island's latest murder.
He is 42-year-old Patrick Nathaniel Leacock, nicknamed 'Pockets', a resident of Carmichael Tenantry, St. George.
Leacock was charged for the stabbing death of 39-year-old Zanaba Moore which occurred on Tuesday April 23.
He was not required to plead to the indictable offence when he appeared before Magistrate Laurie-Ann Smith Bovell at the District F Court on Thursday. He was remanded to HMP Dodds and will reappear in court on May 23, 2019.
ORIGINAL POST: Police have made a breakthrough in the stabbing death of Zanaba Moore.
The 39-year-old mother was killed in the verandah of her home in Frere Pilgrim South, Christ Church on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.
The accused charged in connection with the death is set to appear in the District F Magistrate Court in St. Joseph today.
Moore lived with her grandmother, sister, two-year-old daughter and 18-year-old son. She received stab wounds and succumbed to her injuries.
