The Ministry has advised that a further 12 samples have been submitted for COVID-19 testing at the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and the University of the West Indies (UWI) testing site.

So far, none of these tests has returned positive results.

The Ministry of Health is reporting that a total of 5,787 samples have been submitted for COVID-19 testing in Trinidad and Tobago. 

Of this figure, positive cases recorded remain at 133.  

The Ministry says that 4,336 unique patient tests have been conducted, while 1,451 are repeat tests. 

Currently, Trinidad and Tobago’s active caseload stands at five. Officials have discharged 120 people after successful treatment while eight people have died.
