COVID-19 Update: Only 9 active cases remain, 5 leave isolation

Barbados records no new cases today, for the fourth consecutive day.

There were no positive cases among the 150 tests done yesterday (May 26) by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

The number of patients in isolation for COVID-19 dropped to single digits today as well. Five recovered persons have been discharged are receiving two consecutive negatives as mandated. There are now nine people remaining in isolation.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory has completed 5,038 tests to date.

Of the 92 confirmed cases recorded since March 16, 76 persons have now recovered and seven have died.
