Dames and Britton's Hill share spoils in BFA Premier League
Britton's Hill FC continued their resurgence in the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Premier League last Saturday at the BFA Wildey Turf.
After spending the majority of the season at the bottom of the Zone 1 table, the Valery boys moved into fifth position when they held neighbours Claytons Kola Tonic Notre Dame to a 1-1 draw.
It was the second tie between the rivals for the season as they drew 3-3 in the first half of the league.
The result was a fair one as both teams have enjoyed a recent run of good form after poor results for most of the earlier portion of the season.
Notre Dame midfielder Kyle Gibson marked his return to the club with his first goal of the season in the 27th minute but national Under 20 forward Donte Greenidge leveled the scores in the 42nd minute.
The second half did not live up to the standard of the first as both teams ran out of steam and ideas.
Britton's Hill are now two points from safety with seven games left, while the Dames are making a late push for zonal supremacy.
