With the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) there should be no fear of a devalued dollar amongst voters.

Today during a meeting for the introduction of candidates at the Bay Street Esplanade, Minister of Housing and Candidate for St Lucy Denis Kellman said:

“The Barbados Labour Party will devalue the dollar and someone will take the country from you. We will deliver on the goods and on the promises. How can you get water from a dry well? We had limited resources from Housing and Lands and we have delivered on every single project.”

Kellman added that it appeared the country was saved because a wonderful job had been done in spite of the shortage of resources they, the DLP had to work with.

“Why would you allow the BLP to continue to destroy a country?” he questioned. “All of our social policies are for those in need. We are not the Party of the too few,” he added. “The BLP, however, is not the Party of the too few.” The government he explained is present in difficult times and delivers. Despite the economic crises and worldwide financial meltdown, Kellman explained that his Party was still managing to keep the country afloat.
