Dog owner charged for manslaughter after deadly attack

Charges have been laid in the death of 74-year-old Verona Gibson, who was mauled to death by several dogs while walking along Monroe Road in Haggatt Hall, St Michael early in the morning of January 28th of this year.
She received multiple bites and succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Peter Christopher Rock, 48 years, of Monroe Road, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael is set to appear in the District A Magistrate Court on Monday June 19.
He is facing a manslaughter charge, as well as three counts of keeping dogs without a license and three counts of keeping dogs unleashed in a public place.
