One word, eight letters and Drake caused a stir in Barbados as he promoted the island's fast-food restaurant chain- Chefette Restaurants Ltd.

With Chefette itself being heavy in the public's eye over the past few months as it adjusted to the COVID-19 protocols and this month launched for the first time ever its own delivery service, this added endorsement is pure icing on the cake.

The photo meme is a man and woman set in Shakespeare times and the man says: "Are you single?" And the woman replies: "I'm album". His caption was simply: πŸ˜Ž CHEFFETE

The Social Media Manager for Chefette replied via Instagram with "Nuff respect".

Meanwhile, in the comments, Rihanna's bestie Melissa @mdollas11 sent Drake her Chefette order:

"A chicken n potato roti, a breast snack and a regular mauby plzzzzz 😒😒"

And Rihanna's brother Rorrey Fenty @gallest commented: "@ilovechefette chef it up πŸ‘¨πŸ½β€πŸ³πŸ‘¨πŸ½β€πŸ³πŸ‘¨πŸ½β€πŸ³"

DJ Spade also commented: "πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Cheffete real real ting food mash up"

During COVID-19 lockdown DJ Spade broke the internet with his Instagram Live jam session and Rihanna and Drake were caught exchanging comments in the live feed.

Drake's post on Instagram has garnered almost 1.5 million likes. Drake's plane was in Barbados on Sunday (July 12) when Barbados reopened to commercialize travel. He was also spotted Sunday night in St Lawrence Gap in Barbados.
