Barbados to reopen in a bigger way from June 1 after eight consecutive days of no new cases of COVID-19.

None of the 44 people tested for COVID-19 yesterday (May 30) was positive for the virus.

Confirmed cases therefore remain at 92 - 49 females and 43 males.

No one will be released from isolation today (May 31) so the number of recoveries remains at 76 and those in isolation at nine. Seven people have died.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted a total of 5,434 tests as of yesterday.
