An elderly man is the victim of Barbados' latest fatal shooting after he was gunned down by assailants who then fled the scene on foot.
According to reports reaching Loop News, the 83-year-old was drinking in Marhill Street, Bridgetown, with associates when he was shot by men who made good their exit through one of the alleys off the main road.
Loop's reporter said that the victim was to play dominoes with others later tonight.
An ambulance and police responded to the scene after 7:00 pm tonight, Friday, December 21, 2018.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer (Acting) Sargeant Michael Blackman, the unidentified victim goes by the alias 'Nard', and he is 83 years old.
