A promoter accused of fraud was granted $30,000 bail earlier this week when he appeared in the District 'A' Magistrates' Court.
Sixty-one-year-old George Angus Farrell of Crystal Heights, St. James was not required to plead to the February 28, 2015, charge that he dishonestly obtained from A & B Music Supplies Limited certain services, namely, sound systems, generators, decking and tents; with the intention of depriving A&B Music Supplies Limited by deception, falsely representing that a First Caribbean International Bank cheque valued at $29, 488.98 was a valid order for payment.
They were no objections to bail and the matter adjourned until April 6.
Farrell was asked to report to Central Police Station every Tuesday and Friday before 12:00 pm.
