Fallen tree does not stop school at The St Michael School

Students of The St Michael School, who are scheduled for face-to-face classes today, will remain at school.

Around 6am, reports that a tree had fallen from the school's front yard onto and across Martindale's Road were made.

The tree brought down electrical and telecommunication wires along with a few electrical poles along that stretch.

However, The St Michael School has confirmed to Loop News that classes are still on as scheduled.

Loop understands on the premises on Wednesdays of this Term are first formers, second formers, fourth and fifth year students.

Entry to the school is via the back gate at present.
